Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans offers Medicare recipients an alternative way of receiving their Medicare coverage (Parts A and B) through private insurance companies that are approved by Medicare. These plans provide a limit on the amount that an insured has to pay for services received on an annual basis. This is known as an out-of-pocket maximum or out of pocket limit. Many Medicare Advantage plans also provide additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare like dental, vision and/or hearing benefits. Some Medicare Advantage plans also include prescription drug coverage.

There is a wide range of options in Medicare Advantage plans including HMO, PPO, Private-Fee-For Service, Medical Savings Account, and Special Needs Plans. Careful consideration will need to be given to the type of Medicare Advantage plan that individuals select based on participation of doctors and hospitals in various networks. Newbrooke Insurance will assist you in looking at plans that best meet your needs for specific doctors and hospitals in the regions you live and travel in.
